System Restrictions / Message Possible Causes
Unable to click either E-Gazette or Law Library nothing happen when clicked Check your subscription info by browsing your Profile pages. You may have not subscribed to any packages or your packages purchased already expired
The total logged-in concurrent sessions for this account has reached the maximum.

All IDs only support SINGLE session of login.

That means you can only have ONE user logged in at any one time. IMPORTANT: You will need to logout properly by clicking on the LOGOUT link on the top right hand corner of the website. If you close the browser without clicking on the LOGOUT link, you will be still considered logged in by the system and you will not be able to log in again until the session timeouts (i.e. after 30 min).

NOTE: You can also apply for a user account or ID which supports multiple logon sessions. ContactUs should you want to pursue this option.

A : lawnet.com.my is a website of PNMB-LawNet, an Internet Division of Percetakan Nasional Malaysia Berhad (PNMB), the official printer appointed by the Government of Malaysia. We provide an Online Library of Malaysian Laws. It is comprehensive and easy to use. It is a one stop reference for practising lawyers, legal advisors, academicians, students as well as people who daily refer to Malaysian Laws.
 
Q : What doest Lawnet contains??
A : It contains an online collection of the AUTHORITATIVE text of the Laws of Malaysia. Our database consists of Law Library, e-Gazette, and Istilah Undang-undang. .
  • Law Library contains the Updated Acts of Parliament, Principal Acts (Original), Amendment Acts, Ordinances, Bills Supplement, Updated Rules & Regulations, Legislative Supplement (A), Legislative Supplement (B), Federal Constitution, Criminal Procedure Code, Penal Code, National Land Code, Rules of Court, Court Forms, General Orders and "Arahan Perbendaharaan" .
  • E-Gazette is the electronic version of Malaysia Gazette printed by PNMB, the official printer appointed by the Government of Malaysia. It currently contains :-.
    • Federal Gazettes - Principal Acts, Amending Acts, Bills Supplement, Legislative Supplement (A), Legislative Supplement (B) and Gazette Notification (GN).
    • State Gazettes - State Legislations for Selangor, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Johor, Terengganu, Perak, P.Pinang, Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan dan Sarawak..
     
    The E-Gazette is available on-line as soon as it is gazetted weekly.

Q : What are the hardware and software required to access LawNet?
A : Any computer with Internet access. You just need a web browser that are compatible with Lawnet (Internet Explorer 10+, Mozilla Firefox 16+, Google Chrome 4+
 
Q : What is the recommended display resolution setting for viewing LawNet?
A : The Lawnet is best viewed with 1024x768 display resolution. However if you have bigger screen you might see the Lawnet Portal with smaller view. In this case you should use Zoom function of the browser. Hit and hold Ctrl (Microsoft Windows) or Command (MAC OS) button together with + or - key of the keyboard and adjust it to suit your preferences.
